It is with deep sadness that we announce the demise of a renowned grassroots politician and philanthropist par excellence, Hon. Ben Ameh of Imane, Olamaboro Local Government Area of Kogi State.
Hon. Ben Ameh was a respected community leader and a committed political figure who once aspired to represent the people at the House of Representatives in 2015. Throughout his life, he was known for his generosity, humility, and unwavering dedication to the welfare of his people.
Details surrounding his death and burial arrangements will be made available shortly. However, information reaching us indicates that Hon. Ben Ameh had recently returned from Jalingo, Taraba State, where he resided with his family. He reportedly came home to his village about four days ago and showed no signs of illness.
According to sources, he was seen yesterday in the company of friends and relatives, engaging in normal conversations. He later excused himself to take his bath but tragically never returned alive from the bathroom.
His sudden passing has left family members, friends, political associates, and the entire Imane community in shock and mourning.
